  4. What if I prefer my gift to remain anonymous?

    Clemson University will respect the wishes of all donors who prefer to give without public recognition. When you make the gift, you just need to let us know that you prefer to give it anonymously.

  5. Can I make my planned gift in honor/memory of someone?

    Of course, you just need to provide that information when making the gift.

  6. Planned gifts are only for the wealthy/older adults. What if I can't afford it?

    Our office does three things. First, we work with people to find a giving opportunity within Clemson University that matches their philanthropic passion. Second, we help them make the gifts that they always wanted to make but just weren't sure how. Finally, we work to recognize and celebrate everyone's intentions while they are still living. We actually have a special giving society specifically for our planned giving donors, Clemson Legacy Society.
